In The Beginning...

The initial plan for a grad trip was to Australia. Con, hongyi, yiwei, kevin and I were planning to go for a 3 weeks tour in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We decided to check out the natas fair held at expo in August, but when the dates draw near, no one mentioned about it (as usual). As most of us are not working and are running on a budget, we decided to cancel the trip to Australia.

Caijun and huixian were also planning to go for a trip in December. They manage to get kevin and teck into the team even before deciding on a place to go. Not long after, Kevin asked us (con, hongyi, yiwei and I) if we are interested to go with them. Since we have cancelled going to Australia, we decided to join them. Although yiwei was a bit reluctant as he really wants to go to Australia (and he still grumbles about it), we managed to psycho him to go.

We decided to go to TAIWAN and the decision was made in August.. But, no action was taken until September. We checked many airlines and Jetstar Airways was the cheapest. Due to the cheaper rates on certain dates, we extended our trip. From a 8 days to a 14 days trip.

Yup! And the flight is confirmed. Yiwei is nice enough to share his credit facilities with us. Hehe... And we are able to pay him back in a month's time. Thank you Yiwei's papa. The main thing done. Next, the travel itenary.

As we were busy with our projects, this issue has been delayed till the beginning of October. Since Con's friend is a Taiwanese, we send Con to find out more information about where to go and what to do there. And soon, the 1st draft of itenary is out. And with the love from Con, he draft a Taiwan map with all the cities and the number of days we planned to stay. Good job Con!

We have about 2 weeks to prepare ourselves for the trip after our exams. Huixian started counting down to the number of days and our emails started to flood with all the questions about what to bring for the trip. Everyone was so excited. And guess what, we are never sick of each other. Con and i met twice the day before we flew. And we met hongyi for supper till 1am, even before we finished packing our luggage.
